E-SCAPE will launch an innovative game-based platform, teaching methodology and resources to support the acquisition of transferable skills.
In the next 24 months the partnership will produce the following products:
E-SCAPE Teaching Framework
E-SCAPE Teaching Framework which aims to define and explain the key skills, needed in the volatile contemporary labor market and to equip HE teachers with a skills framework, guiding principles and innovative learner-centered resources to teach them in an attractive way. It will be complemented by a Skills Blueprint, which will outline the major social trends that affect the labour market and explain their impact on jobs and skills demand. It will familiarize students with current societal themes and challenges, such as digitization, task automation, job polarization, skills mismatches, gender gaps emerging and green jobs, Gig Economy and work-life balance in post-Covid work realities.
E-SCAPE Game-based educational scenarios for digital escape room
E-SCAPE Game-based educational scenarios for digital escape rooms which aims to support HE students from diverse fields of study in developing essential transferable skills applicable in various life and career situations. The original game-based learning scenarios will“translate” the key messages from big data analysis and reports into engaging learning content, build around a compelling story.
E-SCAPE 3D Virtual World Educational Platform
E-SCAPE 3D Virtual World Educational Platform -the innovative game-based learning will mainstream the soft skills training across students from diverse fields of study. The immersing 3D virtual world creates a unique learning environment, and encourage innovative, lateral thinking and strengthen key competences for employability in an attractive and engaging way, through advanced digital technologies. In the same time, the intriguing format of the digital escape rooms which fosters players to deal with complex challenges requiring a broad skill set under the pressure of time.

E-SCAPE impact assessment and multiplication guide will ensure the E-SCAPE pedagogic approach are quality, coherent products which adequately meet their objectives and are relevant to the needs of the target groups.
About Us
The project starts in November 2021 and involves 6 organizations from 5 EU countries:
- University of Chemical Technology and Metalirgy (UCTM) – Bulgaria
- Business Foundation for Education (BFE) – Bulgaria),
- Computer Technology Institute and Press “Diophantus” (CTI) – Greece,
- Media Creativa (Spain),
- Unitelma Sapienza (Italy) and
- AHE – University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz (Poland).
As a result of the E-SCAPE project:
- HE students and graduates will improve their employability skills and better understanding about the role of skills for personal productivity, competitiveness and fulfillment, and for long-term and sustainable growth
- HE educators and career guidance experts will enhance their mutual understanding of offered academic skills and needed market skills
- HE students, graduates and HE educators and Career Guidance experts will boost their digital skills.
The E-SCAPE complementary products link the academic objectives of HEI with the pragmatic needs of the labour market and the individual needs of the learners. The platform will embrace the potential of innovative technologies to create a highly interactive, participative and exciting learning experience. The openly shared tools, available in 6 languages will improve the accessibility and encourage the application of digital technologies in HEI for teaching, learning, assessment and engagement. In the same time, it will increase the capacity of HEIs teachers to apply innovative methodologies and digital tools in the education.
